We are delighted to have been invited to participate in this group show at London Art Services Gallery.
Creekside was a particularly special street to Bert, having worked there with Advanced Graphics London when they were based in Deptford (1989 - 2003.) It feels especially fitting, therefore, to be returning to this part of London with his work. We know that he would have loved to be showing with Mali Morris, of whom he was very fond. We also know that the work of Betsy and Scott would have been exciting to Bert. He was always incredibly supportive of younger artists.
It is a joy to be part of this show.
NEW YORK
We have been working with Nino Mier for almost two years now and he, and his team, have shown incredible enthusiasm for Bert’s work and immense energy in helping us to show them to the right people. He is particularly interested in the early period spanning the 1960s and early 1970s. We had a very successful solo show in the Nino Mier Gallery in Brussels towards the end of 2025 and Nino subsequently invited us to show in New York at his SoHo gallery.
During the 60s and early 70s Bert had regular exhibitions with the New Art Centre in Sloane Street, London. Some of the paintings Nino has selected were first shown there.
The NY show will open on 30th October and run through until Christmas. We are all planning to be there for the first few days of the show. Do let us know if you are planning to come along and be in touch directly if you would like to be invited to the Private View.
